Ice Cream For Dinner

It has just been one of those kinds of days.  You come home from work and realize there's probably nothing there for dinner that
1. Takes less than the minimal effort you feel like putting into your meal
and
2. Sounds even remotely like something you would enjoy eating.

So that's kind of where I was.  Ice Cream for dinner it is.  :)

Meanwhile, I stopped at Joann's yesterday and in an effort to keep me busy while he was gone ALL weekend (probably trying to get away from me) Kevin bought me some wool yarn for my newest DIY endeavor....

Making Felt Balls

I saw some at a craft fair this weekend and they looked so funny, but funny in a way that I kind of wanted them.  But instead of buying ones that someone else made, I decided to be insane make them myself.  I'm sure no one that really knows me will be shocked.  I found some tutorials online and it looked pretty simple.  And of course by looking pretty simple, the pictures made it look easy.  I've just started and I'm having my doubts.

Notice the near empty bag of Cheesy BBQ Cheetos in the left hand corner. My new chip addiction
It's yet to be seen whether or not this will end up in the aforementioned drawer, but luckily the yarn was only $3.50, so if it works I've saved a ton of money on these instead of buying already made felt balls which I've already researched are like $10 for only 20 of them.  Hopefully it's worth it.  But if I can't make it past rolling them into the yarn balls, getting to the part where you soak them in soapy water is probably not happening either. Remember when I said this was easy?  Yeah. I may be changing my mind.
